Personal data we receive
The quote form asks for your name, a phone number, an email address and your postcode, and gives you space to describe what you want. Those details are only used to respond to you. Nothing else about you is collected, and you never need to create an account.
Keeping your information
We don't keep enquiries indefinitely: two years after you last got in touch, they are deleted.
Our lawful basis
Handling your enquiry is something you have asked for, so we rely on the pre-contract basis, together with our legitimate interest in responding to customers.
Sharing your details
Only our own team and the service providers named on this page see your enquiry, and only so it can be dealt with. Your information is not sold, rented or used for anyone else's advertising.
How the enquiry form works
The enquiry form is part of hartlepooldecking.co.uk rather than an embedded third-party form. When you send it, your details go to our own form handler on Cloudflare, which stores them in a Cloudflare D1 database and then adds them to our customer records system, HighLevel, a US company acting as our data processor. That can mean your details are transferred to the United States, protected by the safeguards in HighLevel's data processing terms.
Keeping the form free of spam
Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a real person is sending the form, which involves processing basic technical information such as your IP address and browser type. To stop spam and repeated submissions we keep a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address with your enquiry and in a short-lived rate-limit record, never the address itself. No Facebook or advertising pixel is used.
Website hosting and analytics
Our pages are hosted on Cloudflare's network. To deliver them and defend against attacks, Cloudflare processes connection details such as your IP address. We have not installed analytics, and nothing on the site tracks you for advertising.
Location pages include an optional embedded Google map, which loads only when clicked. When it loads, Google receives the request and Google's privacy policy applies to it.
Information kept on your device
The form sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. Along with what you type, it sends the address of the page you are on, the site that referred you and any campaign tags in the link (utm_ values), so we know where enquiries come from. Our cookies page has the details.
Your rights
You are entitled to request access to your information, its correction or deletion, and to restrict or object to our processing. Use the quote form with your request, and a reply will follow within one calendar month.
If you are unhappy
Should you remain dissatisfied, the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) deals with data protection complaints in the UK.
